Application Notes

Use after Leather Liquid Degreaser when oils and silicones are removed.

Apply with a lint-free cloth or fine fibre pad, working seam to seam.

Feather edges, wipe residues thoroughly and let dry completely before proceeding.

How to Use – Step by Step

Degrease First — Clean oils/silicones with Leather Liquid Degreaser; let dry.
Apply Leather Prep — Dampen a lint-free cloth or fine fibre pad with Leather Prep.
Work the Surface — Wipe in controlled motions from seam to seam, feathering edges and removing unstable/old coating. Keep the pad clean; change as it loads.
Level & Unify — Even out gloss and transitions until the surface is uniformly matte/keyed.
Remove Residues — Wipe thoroughly with a clean cloth; allow to evaporate until dry to the touch.
Proceed — Continue with Leather Binder (if needed), Light/Heavy Filler, Primer, Colourant, Top Coat.
Test First — Always test on a hidden area to confirm sensitivity and removal rate.
Safety — Work with ventilation; keep away from open flame/ignition. (Exact solvent system: requires verification.)
